Internalized truths and blurred mirrors


“Beware of the truths you internalize. The words bounced inside him. The gaze of the other brings judgments capable of destroying your structures; Scratches your mind. Dirty mirrors, blurred reflections. The spotted vision of the other confuses and bothers. He who points his finger never points to himself. Be wary of anyone who wants to change the world, but is unable to change himself. It takes courage to swim in the mud that sinks all around us. Every change begins from the inside out. Whoever you are out of the bubbles and the spotlight says as much about you as the character you created for yourself. Consciousness of our inconsistencies leads to growth. He got up from the rug; About to slip, he jumped, floated and burned, until it became dust of himself. He rediscovered the indestructible spirit as he breathed the smoke of the incense that spilled across the room. Now, he could breathe calmly once more– Ben Oliveira
